Delete your account and data
WortPilot · App owner: Hakan Gök
You can delete your account at any time without requesting prior permission. Both methods below have the same result.
Method 1 — In the app
- Open WortPilot.
- Go to Settings.
- Find Account and devices.
- Select Delete my account and confirm.
The operation is completed immediately. Use the email method if you cannot open the app.
Method 2 — Request by email
Send a message from the Google email address used for the account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. The request will be completed within 30 days and confirmed in writing.
What happens when you delete
| Data | Outcome | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Account, email, name and user identifier | Permanently deleted | Immediately in the in-app flow |
| Cloud learning progress and session history | Permanently deleted | Immediately in the in-app flow |
| Local copy on your device | Remains until you reset progress, clear the app data or remove the app | Controlled by you |
| Technical copies in backup systems | Removed automatically | Within 30 days |
Deletion cannot be undone. To keep a copy first, use Settings → Data and backup → Export.
Alternatives to deleting the account
- Sign out only: this disconnects the device while leaving the account and cloud record intact.
- Reset progress but keep the account: this starts the curriculum again while leaving the account signed in.
